Does anyone know who lives in the apartments across 38th next to our place? They hang out on the balcony and have been throwing beer bottles at us, harassing my girlfriend and I, throwing fireworks at our cars, doing fake drive-bys, and just being assholes in general. Any information would be appreciated.

have you considered where you are living as a problem?
have you considered where you are living as some sort of landmark not owned by a man named dave.
have the bums asked you for more than you make in a week? how bout an hour?
how many times have you talked with the cops?

the other is a halfway house full of ex convicts & past drug pushers! or vice a versa!

i dont consider where i live to be the problem. i love my house and midtown.
dave is a douche, he is irrelevant.
we welcome the bums. weve had more problems with frat guys and people who dont want us living here than any bum has ever given us.
once.
we dont know our neighbors but they are kind.
the halfway house is full of real people with real problems who we dont judge or have any problems with.
of course the thought of a real drive by scares me more than a fake one.
i am white, so what? reggie doesnt care.
youre talking about worldly problems of pollution? im talking about something i can actually fix, neighbors who are jeopardizing the safety of my girlfriend and my brother. im looking for names.
i came to this site because a lot of people on this site have lived here.
why should i care who lives here after me? no one should. whos going to wear your shirt when you die?
equally, i dont care who lived here before me. Conor Oberst is an amazing writer. is that suppose to make me better because he lived here?

are you going to call the cops on them?
do it! arrest everyone!
obviously you have not tried sober reasonable talks or maybe even asort of drunk talk with these villains in your hood,your life.

you're so fucking helpful. i was just looking for names. not some obscure life lesson from some asshole who assumes we haven't tried to talk to them. they throw glass bottles at my girlfriend. the only reason i posted on this site is because people have lived here and may know their names, but i see now that this is not a place to find anything of use. i dont need advice, jackass. so move on, get over it, you've said your part. we are taking care of it. but if it gives your life some kind of meaning to post long, thought out, "poetic", ramblings on an internet site, go for it.

i think we should keep going till the end of time on this thread!
sounds like we both need someone to talk to about stuff.
real advice: you'll never get names until you catch them doing it and confront them, sooo many windows when i lived there were smashed to hell,
(winter will suck, always)
sometimes id catch the boozehound doing it ,other times id wake up and itd be done but also there would be like a huge tree limb in my kitchen+ the smell of fireworks/spraypaint.
hopefully its not an enemy of yours or just some selfish individual who feels like a huge hipster native american banished from his promised land.
we all have and had our times there CWALLIN.
the only thing i can help you with is just to tell you
be there and deal with it or be there and let go of it.
-as for my long,thought out,"poetic" ramblings, you forgot to add "high" or "most likely drunk after bar".

I know who lives there, a one Reginald Raspberry (the heir to the Woodmen tower fund), Lionel P. Honeyham (6' 4'', 240, consumes 5 lbs of bacon daily, i would stay away) Bay Rock Al Bama (Middle eastern, i believe) and one Sally Wenkenstein (total babe, be nice to her).

I am the landlord, they are all on probation now, they cannot leave their apartments until I evicted them at the end of the month, then I shall deport them to Alcatraz. And come on, no one believes you really have a girlfriend. (Try Match.com?)
