I don't see why any of you care. In many cities there are housefuls of douchebags willing to pay $20 to hear pedro the fucking lion. Let them have their fun. There are many bands who I would pay a premium to see at a house show as opposed to a venue. For a semi-famous act this sounds kind of awesome. Who wouldn't pay $25 to see Bill Callahan play in a shitty basement?
