although it pains me to say it, the stockyards closed less than a week after I posted this. I was very shaken. Natalie and I are going to have to find a new cheap date. I applaud them for sticking to the $1.00 admission rather than buckling under pressure, but I would have paid Westwood prices rather than watch it close. Who the hell wants to drive to 132nd and Center? Who wants to even travel on Center street?
Dude, the stockyards is not Omaha's premiere dollar cinema, it's Omaha's ONLY $1.00 cinema. Except on Tuesdays... when it's only 50 fucking cents. I go there all the time.
I want to ask: "How hard is it to be the best hip hop artist in Omaha?", but that sounds like a diss no matter how I word it. So how about: "Congratulations to Conchance for finally providing Omaha with some quality hip hop."
for sure. No matter how gross it was, they mashed those potatoes every day. 11worth and Radial are both fine breakfast joints, but the processed hash browns are no substitute. Fuck I am going to miss those.
I appreciate the consideration, but I don't really care about that. Figured it would happen sooner or later. However, I didn't see this one coming. This is my kinda thing.
I may have to turn my Star Wars badge in, but not my nerd status! I wore a shirt classifying the different types of Trilobites and was unofficially awarded "nerdiest shirt of the week" at Entomology Hall. Also, I study bugs. Doesn't that get me access to the VIP lounge at the nerd club?
who was the fat "death star employee"? Is that what that dude is? Aren't those the dudes that operated the beam on the death star? Damn, my Star Wars fan club membership should be revoked.
some of them do, which is fucking crazy. Maybe we could do it too if we had hemolyph. There's a girl in my lab that had a mantis come back to life after she pinned it. It was a very loud scream. It had been in her freezer for over two weeks! Mantids don't do well in the cold, I was a bit shocked myself. Bumblebees do it too, very well.
That's excellent. I wanted to comment on the professor holding Darwin, but that guy kind of nailed it. Frank, I hope you come to the PP, because I have been learning so many cool things about evolution and intelligence, but I have few people to discuss it with. EVERY single new friend I have made here is rocking at least one bible study or youth group a week, which is totally fine, but I really didn't think that just one other atheist entomology student was too much to ask for. I guess it was. Sorry, off topic.

A day where you are supposed to describe how you would do something that you have never done? In that case, I fly zeppelins like a beast.
